Truth and Reconciliation Day – Orange Shirt Day

Today is Truth and Reconciliation Day. St. Francis Xavier Students demonstrated their commitment to change by observing Orange Shirt day. Catholic School Council Meeting

St. Francis Xavier will be having their first Catholic School Council Meeting on Wednesday, October 5th at 6:30 pm in the library. This is a great opportunity for parents to get involved in the school. All parents are welcome to attend.

Markham Fair Trip

On Friday, September 30th, our Grade 2 and 3 students attended their first trip of the year to Markham Fair. What a fabulous day they had for the trip.

 

Safety Awareness Week

This coming week our students at St. Francis Xavier will be participating in Safety Awareness Week. Students will be engaged in learning and practicing important safety drills.

COVID-19 Health and Safety Measures

The York Catholic District School Board worked closely with its partners at the Ministry of Education, York Region Public Health, and with Board staff to prepare for the return to school in September. By aligning our practices with their guidance, we are confident our schools will continue to be safe, inclusive places to learn and work throughout the 2022-2023 school year.
