Today we demonstrate our support of the bravery of Terry Fox and all Indigenous people and to show our commitment to the idea that every child matters. Today we remember that our history bears the pain of Canada’s Residential Schools. Today and every day that we show love and friendship to others we mark our contributions to healing and support of all cultures and make a new history of acceptance and celebration of all that we can accomplish together.
God our Creator, you heal broken hearts with your love and call us to share this love with one another. Open our hearts, that we might learn to walk with one another. Amen
